I am a ballroom dancer, Argentine tango organiser and also teach beginners, a certified FitStep coach.
I have always loved dancing and my first ever experience with ballroom dancing was in high school. When I finally managed to join a Ballroom Dance Club in college I just knew that this is my true passion. I am a fast learner and picked up dance steps from my dance partners within a short period of time. I started to teach other people Ballroom Dancing and discovered that I am a natural and very gifted. I am happiest when I am dancing and found that my enthusiasm and passion encourage other people to join in the fun too.
I was getting through the most difficult time in my life a few years ago. It was dancing which helped restore my confidence, helped me deal with that very difficult phase in my life and given me hope that there is happiness to be had through dancing and meeting like-minded people at dance classes and events. I decided to become a qualified dance instructor and have now been awarded with IDTA qualifications.
I now feel that by teaching dancing, organising charity dance events and going to dance meets I am happier and healthier. The positive energy I have felt during a dance is really quite magical and I can see that's it has positive effects on everyone else who's attended the dance classes. I truly believe that the healing power of dance can be used as an integral part of the holistic way of life.
Apart from dancing, I am also a very keen photographer as I love the beauty of nature and wildlife and just like dancing, I find photography very therapeutic and healing. I am also very interested in meditation, listening to music, travelling.
